Thursday, August 05, 2010

My new mini-opera for two singers, flute and harp will be performed a number of times in public spaces at the Riverside Studios and around Hammersmith by Tête à Tête, London’s most innovative and exciting opera company. Part of their annual Opera Festival at the Riverside Studios, the four Lite Bites (written by Dominique le Gendre, Stephen Crowe, Julian Grant and myself) will pop up around Hammersmith at various times during the festival.

Sheepdip at Aldeburgh Young Musicians course

Tuesday, June 01, 2010

Awesomely funky vocal trio juice (Anna Snow, Sarah Dacey and Kerry Andrew) performed Sheepdip from my set of three Words at the remarkable Aldeburgh Young Musicians course in Suffolk. Leading a week of vocally-based creative exercises with the talented young musicians of AYM, juice then used my concept for Words - basing a piece on the sounds of a single word - to create pieces with the participants.
